Rotational Moulded Flag Bases

Our client provides modular display and large format printing exclusively to suppliers in the exhibition and display industry. Previously, they had their custom flag bases manufactured in China using a blow moulding technique. However, they were in search of a local supplier. By sourcing from a UK manufacturer like Trifibre, our client was able to achieve several advantages. Firstly, they benefited from reduced shipping costs and a decreased carbon footprint. Additionally, sourcing locally allowed for better control over the quality of the products. Furthermore, by choosing a UK manufacturer, our client was able to save valuable warehouse space. They no longer had to order and store a larger quantity of flag bases in order to effectively serve their customers.

Trifibre designed the flag base tool based on our client's previous blow moulded unit. The new design featured a screw fit plug that allowed the final rotomoulded product to be filled with water for added weight. Rotomoulding the product also resulted in a more consistent and defined finish compared to the older blow moulded examples. This improved finish enhanced the overall quality of the flag bases, ensuring a superior product for our client and their customers.
